A man wandered into a forest
An ordinary man
One guilty of sin
One who had committed errors
One who still had a soul
In this forest, the light shined a bit brighter
The animals seemed slightly shyer
The plants seemed to lean in lovingly
The man found a clearing in the center
In the clearing the grass seemed softer
And he saw a creature
He saw this being holding a fragile dandelion
So unbothered but not uncaring
The man grew curious and so he stepped closer
Then he saw it's eyes meet his
And the man began to shed a tear
The creature bore a soft smile
The gaze was kind, not a hint of malice
And though the man tried to peer into the being's very spirit
Not a flaw could he find
The forest nymph began to pace lazily towards the man
The nymph never dropped it's gaze
The gaze peered past the man's eyes
And so the man cried
He could not bear to be seen
Not by something so pure
Not by something who did not know evil
But could see the evil in him
